Things to do:
1. Preheat your oven to 275 degrees. In the meantime, pinch off a small amount of tan clay, about 1/8 of a block. Knead the clay to soften it.
2. Using the palm of your hand, roll the tan clay around to form a ball.
3. Press your thumb onto the ball to flatten it just a bit to resemble a donut.
4. Pinch off a small amount of dusty rose-colored clay. Knead the clay to soften it.
5. Using a roller, roll out the dusty rose clay until it is thin and flat.
6. Remove the dusty rose clay from the roller, then place it on your work surface. Place the tan donut on the dusty rose clay, then cut the excess clay using a plastic knife or clay tool.
7. Lay the dusty rose clay layer over the donut, centering it as best you can.
8. Use your fingers to pull the dusty rose clay down in some spots around the donut so that it resembles dripping icing.
9. Using a pencil or another thin pointed object and with the dusty rose icing facing you, poke a hole in the center of the donut.
10. Pinch off a small amount of pearl clay. Knead the clay to soften it.
11. Using the heel of your hand, roll the pearl clay out into a long, thin strip.
12. Continue to roll the pearl clay out as evenly as possible.
13. Place the pearl strip across the donut. When the pearl clay reaches the edge of the dusty rose clay, rotate the pearl strip to lay it in the other direction.
14. Continue swirling the pearl clay back and forth across the donut until you reach the other side of the donut. When you reach the end, use a clay tool to cut the remaining pearl clay away from the donut.
15. Insert a metal screw eye into the donut, centering it.
16. Bake the donut in the oven for 30 minutes at 275 degrees.
17. When the donut has cooled, slip a necklace chain through the screw eye.
