5-Minute Holiday Food Treats Tutorial


These three delicious holiday treats make great gifts for kids or a fun snow day project! With a few simple craft supplies, you can transform your everyday snacks into something seasonal and fun!

Age range: 8 and up

Snow Man Donuts

Things you’ll need:
Scissors
Glue
Googly Eyes
Tape
Three Mini Donuts
Black Felt
Green Pompoms
Red Ribbon

Things to do:
1. Fill your plastic treat bags with three powdered donuts and tie the top. Your donuts should look like three snow balls.

2. Cut a top hat out of black felt. Secure it to the top of the donut treat bag with glue.


3. Use glue to attach two googly eyes to the face of the snowman.
4. Cut a six-inch piece of ribbon and tie it around the snowman’s neck, like a scarf.

5. Finish your snowman by gluing two pompom “buttons” to the front.

Cheese Stick Snowman

Things you’ll need:
Scissors
Glue
Cheese Sticks
Googly Eyes
Blue Ribbon
Plastic Top Hats
Plastic Treat Bags
Orange Paper

Things to do:
1. Fold the excess plastic down on the top and use a piece of tape to secure it.

2. Glue two google eyes to the front of the cheese stick.
3. Cut a 4-inch piece of blue ribbon and tie it around the neck of the snowman.

4. Cut a small triangle out of orange paper and use glue to attach it to the snowman’s face, making his nose.

5. Use glue to attach the plastic top hat to the top of the cheese stick.

Reindeer Chocolate Bar

Things you’ll need:
Scissors
Glue
Chocolate Bar
Large Googly Eyes
1-inch Red Pompoms
Brown Felt
Two Candy Canes

Things to do:
1. Cut two ear shapes out of brown felt. Use glue to attach them to the top, back of the chocolate bar.


2. Use tape to secure the candy canes to the back of the chocolate bar. These will be your reindeer’s antlers.

3. Use glue to attach two large googly eyes and a red pompom nose to the front of the chocolate bar.
