DIY Christmas Light Bulb Garland Tutorial

We love the holiday season – and the holiday decorations! This garland brings the lights and magic into your home. Hang it up in your window or layer it with our “Merry & Bright” garland and display it over your mantle. It’s sure to brighten up your home this Christmas season!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 8 and up

Things you’ll need:
Plastic bulbs
Artificial snow
Glitter
Scissors
Funnel
Decorative trim

Things to do:
1. Start by measuring out a length of string for your garland. You’ll want a bulb every 8-10 inches, so divide the length by 8 to determine the number of bulbs you’ll need to fill.

2. Use a funnel to fill your bulbs with artificial snow and glitter until they’re roughly halfway full. For our garland, we used a shiny snow and two different glitter colors. Chunky glitter works best for this project, because it pops nicely against the snow.

3. When your bulbs are filled, string them onto your length of string and loop the ends to easily display your holiday garland!
