Plaid is everywhere and even better when paired with burlap!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 15 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam ball
Fat quarter of fabric
Burlap ribbon
Twine
Embellishments (berries, greenery, rusty bells)
Scissors or pinking shears
Glue or hot glue gun and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Start by cutting your fabric into 9-inch x 15-inch for a 3-inch styrofoam ball.
2. Place the styrofoam ball in center of fabric and bring short sides to center. Glue each piece at the top to hold.

3. Next, cut a 10-inch piece of twine. Gather the longer sides of fabric to top then tie the twine in knot to secure.

4. Cut a 19-inch piece of burlap ribbon and a 10-inch piece of twine. Fold burlap back and forth to form a bow with tails. Tie twine tightly around center.

5. Using ends of twine, tie bow to gathered fabric.

6. Finally, tie the tiny bells to ends of twine. To finish the ornament, glue embellishments in the center of bow to your liking. Cut a 14-inch piece of twine, double and tie in knot. Glue to center for a hanger.
