There’s nothing better than glitter for the tree. Paired with a recycled product, you can create an ornament that’s environmentally friendly and beautiful at the same time! This glitter tube ornament is perfect for teacher gifts.

Things you’ll need:
Glitter
Mod Podge
Paint brush
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Twine
Paper towel tube
Ruler
School glue
Pencil
Paper bowl

Things to do:
1. Mark your tube in five 1/2 -inch increments.

2. Cut the tube into five pieces as shown, and shape into petals. Warm up your hot glue gun.

3. Glue the petals together as shown.

4. Continue gluing until you have a flower or star shape like this.

5. Pour the Mod Podge into the bowl and add glitter

6. Mix the glitter into the Mod Podge.

7. Paint this onto the tube, making sure to paint all the surfaces.

8. Before the Mod Podge dries, shake more glitter onto the ornament.

9. Allow to dry. You might need to add some school glue and re-apply glitter to any bare spots later. Add a piece of twine and hang when the glitter tube ornament is dry!
