How to Make a ‘Spring has Sprung’ Grass Wreath

Spring has sprung! Make sure your front door is ready for the sunshine with this green grass wreath.

Difficultly level: Beginner
Time to complete: 1 hour
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Grass mat
Artificial gypsophila pick
Wood cutout flowers
Bumble bees
Ladybugs
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Wreath form
Paint (lavender, light pink, diva pink, and white)
Paint brush

Things to do:
1. The first step is painting your wood flower cutouts. Use different colors of acrylic paint to make them pop.
2. Cut the grass into strips and use hot glue to secure it around the paper mache wreath form. If there are any blank spots when you finish, use your scraps to fill them in.
3. Arrange flowers, lady bugs, bees and small flowers around the wreath, leaving an empty space for a bow at the top. Use hot glue to secure them in place.
4. Cut a piece of ribbon and tie a large bow. Use hot glue to secure it to the wreath.
