DIY Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 1 hour plus drying time.
Age range: 15+

Things you will need:
Mason Jar
Gloss White Spray Paint with Primer
Galvanized Make-Your-Own Dispenser Kit
Mod Podge
Key West Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
Mint Canvas Fabric Roses
Ivory Artificial Rose Heads
Iridescent Double Row Bling Sticker Roll

Things to do:
1. In well ventilated area, spray the mason jar with primer. Set aside to dry. I dry mine on a wooden dowel rod placed inside a floral foam block.

2. Paint the primed mason jar with the Key West Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint. Let mason jar dry completely between coats. I used 3 coats of paint.
3. Once dry, cover the entire mason jar with a coat of Mod Podge, as a sealant.

4. Heat up glue gun. Then, glue on three flowers onto the front of the mason jar. The Mint Canvas already has a self adhesive on the back, however, I also used hot glue, so the flower would adhere longer to the mason jar.

5. Attach the Galvanized Make-Your-Own Dispenser Kit. Since, I used a smaller jar, I trimmed the dip tube with scissors to better fit the mason jar.

6. Peel away the backing of the Iridescent Double Row Bling Sticker Roll. Then, position the bling roll onto the lid of the mason jar dispenser kit. Wrap the bling roll around the entire lid, then trim the end, overlapping the rhinestones just a little.
