Simple Single Loom Band Bracelet without Loom

All my kids talk about recently are their loom band bracelets, how many they have collected from their friends and what they are making next for our dog. If you have finally given into the newest craze, you can start by making these simple, single loop bracelets (necklace, or rings, etc whatever fits your fancy) and you don’t even need a loom.

Things you’ll need:
Loom bands (colors of your choice)
S clasps
Charmsoptional

Things to do:
1. After you have gathered all your supplies and contemplated over what colors your next bracelet is going to be, you can begin by selecting your first two rubber bands and placing one in each hand. Cross the two bands then fold one over the other and pull one color through itself. Add a S clasp on the single loop band. Another way of starting your bracelet is by simply folding one band in half and slide your S clasp onto it. You should have two small loops on either side of the clasp now.

2. Pinch the two loops together and thread your next rubber band through the “loop hole.”

3. Repeat Step 2 until you have added as many bands as you would like for your finished project. Be sure to check and compare often so that you know that you are on the right track size wise.

4. Once you have added the last rubber band, pinch the base so it doesn’t come apart and attach a S clasp to both of the loops. Feel free to embellish with charms to add more personality!
