A lovely way to light the way on a dark evening, these doily luminaries are even more elegant than the plain variety. Be sure all edges are well glued down to get the best results and use battery operated tea lights for safety.

Things you’ll need:
Paper bags
Paper doilies
Craft glue
Battery operated tealights

Things to do:
1. Open the paper bags up so that they stand on their own.

2. Spread glue stick evenly but thinly over the entire surface of the doily.
3. Press it inside the bag, smoothing it against the paper of the bag and folding as needed along edges.

4. Once the glue has dried, insert a tea light into the bottom of the bag and light to create a lovely glow.
