Stamped Gift Bags

Stamped_Gift_Bags
Over the past few years, I’ve been moving away from wrapping paper and toward reusable gift-wrapping options, so I’m always on the lookout for cute cloth bags that can be used again and again. These little bags are just the thing for small gifts and turning them into something special is as easy as raiding your stamp collection

Things you’ll need:
Muslin drawstring bags
Acid free stamp pads
Stamps
Scrap paper

Things to do:
1. Slide a piece of paper into the bag to insure that the ink doesn’t leak though to the back.

2. Ink your stamps well and press onto the fabric firmly.

DIY Glitter Ribbon Gift Wrapping

Have you even wrapped a package, ready to give, only to find that you have not a scrap of ribbon in the house? It happens, even to those of us who are craft hoarders. Or maybe the ribbon you have isn’t quite the right match for your gift recipients. Fear not! All you need is a little tape and some glitter and you’ll have something even better than plain old ribbon for your gift.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: Less than 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Clear tape
Glitter
Wrapped gift

Things to do:
1. With your tape upside down (so the sticky side is up) wrap a strip around your package first one way and then the other to create a traditional ribbon wrapped look. Make sure the places where the tape crosses is well stuck together.

2. On a covered work surface, generously sprinkle glitter over the tape, making sure it’s well covered.
3. Tap off any excess glitter from the paper before giving.
