Keep your kiddos busy with this fun and simple craft project! All you need is a few materials to create your own exotic alligator. The little ones will love cutting and gluing the pieces together.

Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Popsicle sticks
White foam sheet
Google eyes
Hot glue gun *For kids, use white glue
Hot glue sticks
Pipe cleaners
Scissors
Pen

Things to do:
1. First, lay a Popsicle stick on a piece of foam and trace around the edge.

2. Cut around your tracing lines, leaving little triangle teeth around the outside rim.

3. Use hot glue to attach the foam teeth to your popsicle stick.

4. Use hot glue to attach another Popsicle stick to the other side of your teeth.
5. Add google eyes to the front of your alligator using hot glue.

6. The final step is adding legs! Wrap a pipe cleaner securely around your Popsicle sticks, trimming it so the legs are about 1-inch long.

7. Wrap another popsicle stick down the body of your alligator and add another pair of legs at the bottom.

This bohemian paper towel rack will clear up some counter space without compromising style! It’s super easy to make and will instantly update the way you stay organized.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 10 Minutes
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Paper towels
Dowel
Leather cord
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Scissors
Wooden beads

Things to do:
1. The first step is creating a rack for your paper towels. Apply a drop of hot glue to the end of your dowel and attach a 4-foot piece of leather cord. Wrap the cord around the dowel several times, using hot glue to secure it in place.

2. Next, it’s time to decorate! Slide approximately one foot of beads onto your leather cord. For my project, I used wooden beads that come in different sizes and colors. I created a pattern, varying the styles as I went.

3. Slide your paper towel roll onto the dowel.

4. Tie the end of the leather cord to the other side of the dowel, securing the roll of paper towels in place.

5. Slide half of your beads over to the other side.
6. Hang your holder and enjoy!
