DIY Jute Color Block Coasters

Things you’ll need:
Sisal rope
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Scissors
Embroidery needle
Embroidery floss

Things to do:
1. Apply a drop of hot glue to the end of your jute. Fold it back onto itself to create the center of your coaster. Hold it in place until the jute has dried completely.

2. Continue applying hot glue to the edge of your jute and wrapping it around itself. It will create a flat, circular shape. Wrap until you’re happy with the size of your coaster.

3. When you reach your desired size, use scissors to cute the jute and use hot glue to secure the end of the edge of the coaster.

4. Next, you get to decorate your coaster! Thread your needle with embroidery floss and sew a fun pattern into your coaster. Make a whole set using different colors or patterns.

DIY Rustic Moss Candle

Bring a bit of the outdoors inside with this stunning moss candle. In just a few simple steps, you can transform an inexpensive candle into a piece of art.

Things you’ll need:
Candle
Paper
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Scissors
Moss

Things to do:
1. Measure the circumference of your candle a cut a 2-inch strip of paper in the correct length.

2. Next, cover the strip of paper in moss. Pull the moss apart until you reach your desired density. Use hot glue to secure it to the paper. Make sure none of the paper shows through. Leave 1/2 inch of the strip of paper without moss.

3. Wrap the mossy paper around your candle and use hot glue to attach the ends. If any of the moss pulled away from the paper, use more hot glue to hold it in place. **Never leave a lit candle unattended. **Never leave a burning candle unattended. We recommend using a battery-operated candle for this specific project. Wax candles were used for demonstration purposes.
