Never to early to start planning those Halloween projects! This EASY, yet SO CUTE DIY will add that simple magic to any spooky decor. All is needed is 4 simple materials! Display anywhere with your Halloween decor! Kids will sure find this project fun to piece together, or for any adults! Add any embellishments that you please 🎃👻

Needed supplies:
- Assorted Harvest White Artificial Pumpkin and Gourds
- 1/4″ Orange Grosgrain Ribbon
- Black Pipe Cleaners
- Black Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
- Hot glue
- Paint brushes
- Scissors
Let’s grab your supplies, channel your inner artist, and let get crafting!
Step 1 – Find and Prep the Pumpkins
To start you will find the two sized pumpkins that will work for you ‘cat’. You will pick a medium for the body and small size for the head. Once you have found your matches, you will then remove the stems.
Step 2 – Painting
Here you will pick your desired color for your ‘cat’. I choose to do a black color to go along with my halloween decor.
Step 3 – Forming the Cat
You will place the smaller paint pumpkin and Hot glue it together. You might need to find the perfect fit by turning the smaller pumpkin and “fitting” it together like a puzzle piece.
Step 4 – Add the accessories
To stick with the halloween scene, i choose a orange ribbon that i had laying around from another project. 1/4 inch wide ribbon works great for the smaller size ‘Cat’.
Step 5 – Create the Ears
Grab your black pipe cleaners and decide what size ears you wish to create for your cute little fellow. Once you find the size, cut two pieces of pipe cleaners the same size.
Here you will either bend a little piece at each side of the pipe cleaner to give you a surface to hot glue to the top of the ‘Head’.
Step 6 – Create the Tail
Lastly, here you will take another pipe cleaner and cut about 4 to 6 off. Then you will coil the tail around your finger. Once you have the desired length and coil, bend a small piece at the end to give a surface for hot gluing on the back of the cats body.
Whether you showcase this cutie indoors or on your front porch, this bewitching black cat is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face during the Halloween season.
