DIY Magnetic Letters for Big Kids

Magnetic_Letters_for_Big_Kids
We are big fans of word games like Scrabble in our house, and I really think that it started long ago when my kids were toddlers playing with magnetic letters on the fridge. These days they are well past the basic ABC’s and most sets don’t offer a lot of extra letters for spelling out bigger words. But an extra set of Scrabble letters and some adhesive magnetic sheets has changed all that.

Things you’ll need:
Scrabble tiles (or make your own with these)
Adhesive Magnet Sheets
Scissors

Thing to do:
1. Cut strips of magnet sheet to just narrower than the width of the letter pieces.

2. Cut each strip in to small squares that will fit on the back of the letter without hanging over. They don’t have to be perfect squares, just make sure most of the back is covered.
3. Peel and stick the magnet squares onto the back of the letters. Smooth any bubbles out and get playing!
