Celebrate the season with this festive wreath. It looks lovely on your front door, or displayed inside as a part of a gallery wall. We’ll be surrounding our wreath with family photos, to remind ourselves of all we have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season.
Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up
Things you’ll need:
10″ Embroidery hoop
Grateful wood cutout
White pumpkins
Pinecones
Striped ribbon
Greenery leaves
Lamb’s ear stems
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Floral wire
Wire cutters
Things to do:
- Wire and hot glue leaves onto the hoop, covering 2/3 of the surface.
- Use wire to make ribbon loops and secure them to the hoop with hot glue. Leave enough room to add in pumpkins in various sizes.
- Use hot glue to attach your finishing details. The pumpkins should be placed between the ribbon loops and pinecones will fill in any empty spaces.
- Complete your wreath by attaching the “Grateful” cutout to the top of the embroidery hoop with hot glue.
