DIY Grateful Fall Embroidery Hoop Wreath

Celebrate the season with this festive wreath. It looks lovely on your front door, or displayed inside as a part of a gallery wall. We’ll be surrounding our wreath with family photos, to remind ourselves of all we have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
10″ Embroidery hoop
Grateful wood cutout
White pumpkins
Pinecones
Striped ribbon
Greenery leaves
Lamb’s ear stems
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Floral wire
Wire cutters

Things to do:

  1. Wire and hot glue leaves onto the hoop, covering 2/3 of the surface.
  2. Use wire to make ribbon loops and secure them to the hoop with hot glue. Leave enough room to add in pumpkins in various sizes.
  3. Use hot glue to attach your finishing details. The pumpkins should be placed between the ribbon loops and pinecones will fill in any empty spaces.
  4. Complete your wreath by attaching the “Grateful” cutout to the top of the embroidery hoop with hot glue.
