Quick and Simple Christmas Ornament Wreath Tutorial

Bring the beautiful ball ornaments to your door or wall, rather than just your tree! This ornament wreath is simple to make and the color possibilities are fun and festive.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time to complete: 1 hour
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam wreath form
Assorted Christmas ball ornaments
Ribbon
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Start wrapping your ribbon around the Styrofoam wreath.

2. Finish wrapping the wreath so you no longer see any Styrofoam.

3. Glue the ornaments on as desired.

4. Finish gluing the ornaments to the wreath. Add a ribbon for hanging or add a hook to the back of the wreath.

How to Make a Felt 3D Christmas Ornament

Hang this fancy spiral of health from the ceiling or above a doorway. Great for holiday decorating or to add some interest at parties.

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Time to complete: 1 hour
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Felt squares
Ruler
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Pencil
Needle and thread

Things to do:
1. Cut the felt to 8″ square. Draw a diagonal line between two corners.

2. Make lines 1″ from each other vertically and horizontally. Use these to draw squares 1″ apart.

3. The felt sheet should look like this.

4. Carefully cut along the lines from one corner to 1/2 ” from the diagonal line. Do not cut all the way to the diagonal line, or you’ll cut the entire piece apart.

5. Note how to cut: From one corner to 1/2 ” from the diagonal line.

6. The felt should look like this.

7. And drape like this. Warm up your hot glue gun.

8. Fold the center section as shown.
