Easy Foam Easter Wreath


This Easter wreath is made out of foam eggs and is the perfect decoration for any spring party. Let your kids help customize the colors and stickers to create a look that everyone is sure to love.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 5 and Up *Younger ages may need help with the hot glue.

Things you’ll need:
Foam Easter Eggs
Foam Stickers
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun

Things to do:
1. Arrange the foam eggs in a circular shape, creating a wreath. I’ve found that it is best to complete the entire wreath before gluing the eggs together. You want to be sure that you like the shape and that they fit together perfectly.

2. Use a hot glue gun to attach the foam eggs. Continue around the circle until the entire wreath is glued.

3. Decorate the wreath with foam stickers.

4. Create a hanger by hot gluing a piece of ribbon to the top of the wreath.

DIY Egg Candles


Perfect for an Easter or Spring Dinner party, these egg shaped candles are a snap to make using empty eggshells as the mold. Be sure to clean out the eggshells well with hot water before using them to make the candles.

Things you’ll need:
Empty eggshells with the open part at the top of the egg
Candle Wax
Wicks
Double boiler
Spoon

Things to do:
1. On a covered work surface, place the eggs in a bottle cap or egg cup to hold it steadily upright.
2. Melt the wax gently in the double boiler. Once melted. Spoon a small amount into the bottom of the egg and drop the wick in, holding it in the center of the egg until it hardens to hold the wick in place.

3. Fill the egg the rest of the way with wax.
4. Allow the wax to harden completely before peeling the shell away. Display in egg cups on your table.
