Spring Chick Wooden Spoon Tutorial


Looking for a fun project to do with your kids? These Spring chick wooden spoons are simple to make and oh-so-cute!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 8 and up *Younger ages will need assistance with hot glue gun

Things you’ll need:
Scissors
Wooden spoon
Hot glue gun/hot glue sticks
Google eyes
Yellow paint
Paint brush
Orange foam sheet

Things to do:
1. Paint your wooden spoon with yellow acrylic paint and set it aside to dry.



2. Cut a triangle out of an orange foam sheet and fold it in half. Apply hot glue to the end and attach it to the front, center of your spoon. This will be your chick’s beak.



3. Use hot glue to add two google eyes just above the beak.

Kid Friendly Spring Bunny Tutorial


Celebrate the season with this festive and fun craft project! These adorable bunnies are simple to make, so they’re perfect for kids! Just swap out the hot glue gun for craft glue and you’re ready to go!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 minutes
Age range: 6 and up

Things you’ll need:
Wooden plaque
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Hot glue gun/hot glue sticks or craft glue
Google eyes
Foam sheets (white and pink)
Buttons
Ribbon
Scissors

Things to do:
1. First, paint your wooden plaque with cream or black acrylic paint. Set it aside to dry.


2. Next, cut your foam shapes. You’ll need a pink heart and two white rectangles. These pieces will be your bunny’s nose and teeth.
3. Use hot glue to attach two google eyes, your heart nose and teeth to the front of your painted plaque.

4. Cut a 14-inch piece of ribbon and tie it in a bow. Use glue to secure the bow to the top of your bunny’s head.

5. Add a button to the center of the bow.
