Create a fun vintage inspired tin assemblage box using a mint tin and all of your winter or Christmas themed bits and bobs! This is a great project for kids and adults alike!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 30 minutes + dry time
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Tin mint box/tin craft box
Aleene’s True Snow
Glitter (optional)
Paint brush
Christmas/Winter themed miniatures (mini bottle brush trees, plastic reindeer, etc)
Vintage Paper Scrap (cards, etc) or Scrapbook Paper

Things to do:
1. Using a paintbrush in your open mint tin, dollop/paint your Aleene’s True Snow all over the inside, top and sides of your box. Thickness and design is up to you, but be sure you have covered all of the silver area of your box that will be visible.

2. Add your miniatures. We like to add the miniatures while the True Snow is still wet, so that the pieces will dry in place and look as though they are part of the scene. (You may have to come back after the snow has dried and hot glue pieces to the top and sides of the box ).
