How to Make a Crocheted Doily Bowl


This gorgeous doily bowl is so easy to make and looks lovely displayed in your home. Use different sizes of doilies and balloons to create a collection of rustic doily dishes.

Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Crochet doily
Water Balloon
Scissors
Mod Podge
Sponge brush

Things to do:
1. Fill a water balloon with air.


2. Cover the top half of the balloon with a thick coat of Mod Podge.

3. Place the doily on top of the Mod Podge.


4. Apply a generous layer of Mod Podge on top of the doily.
5. Let the Mod Podge dry over night.
6. Once the doily has dried, use scissors to pop the balloon. Peel out the remainder of the balloon.
