Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Burlap fabric
Styrofoam Eggs
Ruler
Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
Paintbrush
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Count three strands over form the edge of your piece of burlap. Grab a hold of the fourth strand and pull. This step will open up the burlap, allowing you to cut it without it unraveling. Cut the piece of burlap.

2. Measure the egg to determine how long your strip of burlap needs to be. The egg I am using is 3 1/2″. Cut the strips to fit.

3. Cover the surface of the foam egg with craft glue. Once the entire surface has a thick coat of glue on it, start covering the surface with strips of burlap. The strips of burlap should overlap slightly. Continue applying strips of burlap until the entire egg is covered.

4. Allow time for the glue to dry before displaying.
