DIY Flower Bower Fairy Garden Fence

What better way to surround your fairy garden than with a flower covered fence! These tiny flower garland covered fences add a touch of whimsy and beauty to even the smallest and plainest of fairy gardens. You’ll want one flower garland for each four-panel section of fencing for this project.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Miniature daisy flower garland
Miniature iron fence sections

Things to do:
1. Starting at one end of the fence, wrap one end of the garland tightly around the foot.

2. Using the open sections of the fence and the bobbles on the top as securing places, weave the garland up and around the fence, trying to make it looks as natural as possible.
3. When you reach a join in the fence, bend the fence at whatever angle you’ll position it and wind the garland around the join and onto the next section of fence.

4. Continue to wrap the garland around the fence until you reach the end of the fence. Wind the back through the fence and tuck it in to finish.

DIY Outdoor Game Score Boards

We love dice games of all kinds and are constantly filling up our evenings with them. But now that the long summer evenings are here, we’ve transitioned from indoor games to outdoor ones and these score boards help turn our favorite games into fabulous summer fun! The chalk ink will only wipe away with water, making the score card semi permanent (until you’re ready to make score cards for another game) while you can keep score in regular chalk, wiping away the numbers at the end of each game.

Difficulty level: Moderate
Time required: 15 minutes per board plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Sample paper score card
Mini Chalkboards
Chalk Ink Pen
Chalk

Things to do:
1. Plot out the words for your game board, switching things around to make them fit well on the chalk board.

2. Using your Chalk Ink Pen, transfer the words from your score card onto the chalk board.

3. Keep track of your score using chalk as you play a game with friends and family.
