Valentine’s Arrow Washi Tape Clothespins


You’ve got those valentines all ready to go but now you’re thinking they need just a little more love, right? These washi arrow clothespins are the perfect add on to cards, gifts or bags of treats for your sweetheart. Cute and easy, they would be adorable hanging hearts for a bunting or just to add something special to a little note.

Time required: 5 minutes
Difficulty level: easy

Things you’ll need:
Clothespins
Washi tape
Permanent marker
Ruler
Craft knife and mat

Thing to do:
1. Smooth a piece of washi tape to cover one side of a clothespin. Press down well, working out any bubbles and making sure the tape sticks well to the wood.


2. On a cutting mat, cut away any excess tape using the craft knife.

3. Using your ruler and permanent marker, draw an arrow on top of the tape. Allow the ink to dry before using.

Felt Valentine’s Arrow Clothespins


Clip one of these felt arrows to your Valentine’s Day card this year and send an extra jolt of love to your sweetheart! These can be made with any color felt to match or coordinate with a card or gift for a personalized look and are so sweet your special someone will know how much you love them when your arrow hits the target.

Difficulty level: easy
Time required: 5 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Felt
Clothespins
Craft glue
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Using your felt and scissors, cut a 1 inch by 3 inch rectangle.

2. Cut off about an inch from the rectangle and trim into a triangle.
3. With the remaining piece of felt, cut a V and an inverted V in each end, then make short, even cuts along the edge to create the feather end.

4. Glue both pieces of felt to each end of the clothespin to create your arrow. Allow the glue to dry before using.
