Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 10 minutes
Age Range: 10 and up. *Younger ages can complete craft with assistance.

Things you’ll need:
Clothespins
Paper with a small print or design
Craft glue
Magnet strips
Scissors or craft knife
Ribbon, jute, or string *Optional

Things to do:
1. Measure the clothespin you have chosen. A traditional size is 5/16″ x 3 1/4″ inches. Trace a rectangle with the same measurements onto your paper. If you’re making several photo holders, cut a pattern and trace to ensure every piece turns out the same. Choosing different patterned paper in similar colors is a great way to create an interesting set.

2. Glue strip of paper to the top of the clothespin with craft glue. Be careful to cover entire surface area, including corners. Avoid using large amounts of glue to minimize bubbling under the surface of the paper.

3. Cut the magnet to fit 5/16″ x 3 1/4″ inches, using an exacto knife.

4. Adhere magnet strip to the back of the clothespin by pealing off the backing on the magnet or using craft glue. Clip your favorite photos into your decorated clothespin and enjoy!
