Easy DIY Pom Pom Hairclips

We’re a hairclip house around here. They are, after all, the very best thing to keep flyaway hairs and too-long bangs out of faces so that art projects, homework and yummy snacks can take center stage without hair distractions. These pompom hairclips are simple to make, fun to wear, and oh, so easily customizable to whatever color combination you are after. Because you are gluing to metal, a high temp glue gun and glue sticks will give a longer lasting result.

Difficulty level: Easy, but requires the use of a hot glue gun
Time required: Less than 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Alligator hair clips
High temp hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Pompoms

Things to do:
1. Clip your clips to one glue stick to create a more flat gluing surface and drying angle.

2. Run a generous bead of glue down the top of the clip and press pompoms into the glue.

3. Allow the glue to dry completely and trim away any glue threads before wearing.
