DIY Small Beaded Chandelier


Need a cute decoration for a narrow space? Try making this simple and inexpensive bead chandelier! Great for girls with lockers, or to hang above a small office space.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 1 hour
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
String pearl beads
Canning lid
Thread
Twine or yarn
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut 20 strands of the beads to 12″ long each.

2. Tie several inches of thread around each, just under the top bead. Make sure to tie the thread well and knot tightly.

3. Tie the thread around the canning lid.

4. Continue tying the bead strings around the lid.

5. When you’re done tying, the bead chandelier will look like this. Tie the twine or yarn around the top of the lid to hang your new faux chandelier!
