DIY Hair Bow Rubberband

I have a little girl who is all ribbons and bows. She loves nothing more than being fancy” so I am always looking for little things to add to her wardrobe. These bows are perfect for her long hair, keeping it out of the way while still looking pretty. And they are as simple as 1-2-3 to make!

Things you’ll need:
Ribbon
Rubber band
Needle and thread
Hot glue gun and glue stick
Scissors
Sewing pins

Things to do:
1. Cut the ribbon into three lengths. One 12-inch piece, one 9-inch piece and one 3-inch piece.

2. Form the longer two into loops and, using the pin to hold them in place, twist slightly to create a figure eight. Tuck in the top edge of each end of the loops.

3. Stack the two sets of loops and sew together, drawing them tightly in the middle and wrapping the thread around in the center.

4. Fold the smallest length of ribbon in half and wrap it around the center once, gluing or sewing it in place. Slip the rubber band into the tail before looping it twice more, folding over the end before gluing or stitching down.
