Sparkle “Frosted” Cinnamon Ornaments

Cinnamon ornaments are, perhaps, my favorite homemade Christmas decoration. As fun to make as they are to hang on the tree, they also fill your house with warm, inviting smells, making them doubly wonderful. These Cinnamon ornaments have the added benefit of sparkly “frosting”, adding to their gingerbread cookie like appearance while at the same time giving your tree that little extra bit of sparkle.

Time required: 10 minutes plus dry time
Difficulty level: Easy

Things you’ll need:
Cooked and cooled cinnamon dough cut-outs
Fine White Glitter
White glue

Things to do:
1. Run a bead of glue, as evenly as possible, around the edges of your ornaments or where you want “frosting”.

2. Sprinkle generously with glitter. Allow the glitter to adhere to the glue for a minute and then tap off the excess.

3. Repeat step 2 once more to make sure the glue is well glittered.
4. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly while the ornaments are lying flat.
