Pinecones
Artificial greenery
Jingle bells
Jute
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Artificial snow

Things to do:
1. The first step is decorating your pinecones with snow. Spray a light coat of spray adhesive on the pinecone. Be sure to cover the bottom and top of each layer of the pinecone.

2. Sprinkle a light dusting of artificial snow on the pinecone while the adhesive is still wet.

3. Cut a 9-inch piece of jute and use hot glue to secure the ends together, creating a loop.

4. Use hot glue to attach it to the top of the pinecone. This will serve as your ornament hanger.

5. Next, we’re going to add an accent piece to the top of the pinecone. Pull several small branches of greenery off of a spray.

6. Run a piece of jute through the top of a jingle bell and use it to tie the greenery branches together.

7. Once your decoration is ready, use hot glue to secure it to the top of the pinecone.

  1. Actually, the first thing you should do with freshly gathered pine cones is to bake them, as a way to remove sap and kill bugs.-Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spread pine cones across it in a single layer. Bake for about an hour. -Remove from oven and let them rest for a couple days before cutting or using in crafts.

    1. Does spray paint kill the bugs? I have a few that I can’t bake. I already put glue and hooks in them. I am going to bake the rest though.
