Pencil Arrow Valentines

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Celebrate love with an adorable, pencil valentine. You and your child will have so much fun making these unique cards for their class at school, and the recipients are sure to love the pencil gift.

Things you’ll need:
Pencil
Jute
Scissors
Old Book Pages
Sharpie

Things to do:
1. First, we’re going to cut out the card portion of the valentine. Rip out a page from an old book and cut a heart shape. An easy way to cut out a pretty heart shape is to fold the page in half and cut out a half shape, so it’s symmetrical.

2. Next, punch two holes in the heart. One 1/2 inch from the top of the center, and one 1/2 inch from the bottom of the center.

3. On the heart shape, write You’re all-write.”

4. Slide the pencil through the two holes.

5. Tie a small jute bow around the pencil and give the valentine to someone special!
