Fairy Thimble Teacups

Get ready for a fairy tea party! Fairies love to take tea in their gardens, and with the gardens they have, who would blame them? This project turns the simple, humble thimble into a picture perfect teacup sized to suit your fairies! Look for fun buttons for the saucers and shiny thimbles for a sparkly, pretty tea set!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Thimbles
Buttons
Gray felt or other colors of your choice
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Apply a dollop of glue onto the bottom of each thimble and press the button saucer onto it.

2. Once the glue is dry, flip the teacups over and trim away any glue that came through the button holes as needed to make sure they sit flatly on a table.
3. Cut narrow strips of felt about 1/2 an inch long.

4. Fold the strip in half and apply a very small dot on each of the cut ends. Press the cut ends onto the side of the thimble to create the handle. Once the glue is dry, push the center of the handle in a bit to shape it.

5. Repeat with more thimbles and buttons to create the tea set your fairies need.
