Pom Pom Valentine’s Heart Wreath Tutorial

Create a fun, poofy heart-shaped wreath with a few handfuls of pom poms and a heart shaped wreath form. Substitute the regular pom poms for sparkly pom poms to add a unique touch.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 2 hours
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Pom poms
Heart wreath form
Hot glue
Hot glue gun

Things to do:
1. Begin by gluing a line of pom poms in the center of the heart wreath.

2. Glue a line of pom poms on the inside edge of the heart, keeping the pom poms touching and without leaving gaps between the pom poms.

3. In the same manner, glue a line of pom poms along the outside edge of the middle line of the pom poms.

4. Continue gluing pom poms to the wreath until none of the wreath form shows from the front.

Dress up your home this Valentine’s Day with a blooming, floral wreath! This beauty is easy to make and looks lovely displayed on a door or shelf all season long.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam wreath form
Burlap ribbon
Hot glue gun/glue sticks
Scissors
Artificial flowers
Craft foam
Dowel rod

Things to do:
1. First, wrap your wreath form in burlap ribbon. Anchor the end of the ribbon with hot glue and wrap it around the wreath form until it is covered completely. Secure the end with hot glue and trim any excess ribbon.

2. Now you get to decorate your wreath. Start by cutting three heart shapes out of foam. One should be slightly smaller than the other two.

3. Use hot glue to secure the smaller heart to one of the larger hearts.

4. Glue your hearts to either side of your dowel to make an arrow.

5. Use hot glue to attach the arrow to your wreath form.

6. Finish your wreath by arrange flowers along the bottom of the wreath form. Secure them in place with hot glue.
