Pom Pom Love Bugs Tutorial

These festive little critters make adorable decorations and even more adorable Valentines to give to all your special love bugs! Use sparkly pom poms to give the bugs an extra touch.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 1 hour
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Pom poms
Foam glitter hearts
Googly eyes
Hot glue
Hot glue gun

Things to do:
1. Choose a heart shape for the base and glue the pom poms to the heart, with the point facing the back.

2. Glue two eyes (or one, if you want to make a really interesting creature) to the front of the pom poms.

3. Repeat to create as many love bugs as you want, in all different combinations.

DIY Felt Princess Crown Headband

Create a simple felt, embellished headband for your little princess! These make great crafter noon activities or perfect DIY party favors for a princess party!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 1 hour
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Felt
Jewels
Headband
Hot glue
Hot glue gun

Things to do:
1. Cut two crown shapes from the felt. Cut a semi circle on the bottom of the crown piece to match the curve of the headband. When cutting, cut through two layers of felt to get mirror shapes.

2. Glue the two crown shapes together, leaving the bottom open.

3. Slide the headband inside the bottom of the felt crown piece and glue the crown piece closed around the headband. Make sure the crown piece remains flat.

4. Glue a few rhinestones on the front of the crown.
