Learn how to create the tuxedo bow. The tuxedo bow is such a simple and classic bow. It is perfect for any gift or even a hair accessory such as a headband or hair clips!
Instructions:
1. Pick your desired ribbon and cut to the length you would like. Fold the ends of cut ribbon in toward the center and overlap them. To ensure the ribbon stays in place add a little dab of the Crafter’s Pick The Ultimate Tacky glue.
2. Next, flatten the center and place a small amount of the Crafter’s Pick The Ultimate Tacky glue underneath the overlapped piece of the ribbon. Let dry.
3. Finally, to cover the center of the tuxedo bow, add a second piece of ribbon and wrap around the pressed middle. To secure the second piece of ribbon add a small dab of glue on the back of the ribbon with the Crafter’s Pick The Ultimate Tacky glue. Adjust to desired shape. Tip** For a cinched bow, just wrap the center more tightly. Try playing with the colors, patterns and types of ribbon for added flare. For added depth add layers of ribbon and glue together.
