Doll’s Pompoms Rug

I recently saw a fantastic rug made entirely of giant felted wool balls. It was fun and fabulous and I know I’d love to have it in my house, but until I’m up for making hundreds of felted wool balls, a dollhouse version will have to do. And very cute it is.
Things you’ll need:
Mini pompoms
Felt square
Glass
Pencil
Scissors
Craft glue
Things to do:
1. Using the glass, trace a circle onto the felt and cut out carefully, keeping the edges as smooth as possible.
2. Starting at the center of the circle, dab on some glue and pop on a pompom.
3. Surround this first pompom with a circle of them, smooshing them together so that there are no spaces for the felt to show through.
4. Continue to do this until the entire surface of the “rug” is covered. Rest the bottom of the glass on top of the pompoms to help hold them in place while the glue dries.
