Statement jewelry is really the thing now a day and statement necklaces is especially hot! This project makes a quick and beautiful statement necklace in a snap that will make quite a splash with any outfit. Look for pre-made loops of beads or string eight loops of beads yourself with about 12 inches of total length per loop.

Time required: 10 minutes
Difficulty level: Easy to moderate

Things you’ll need:
8 loops of beads of about 12 inches in total length per loop
12-inch chain necklace
Needle nose or jewelry pliers

Things to do:
1. Lay four loops of beads out in two loops, with them just overlapping.


2. Pull one set of loops over the top of the other and then under through the other side, pulling gently on both sets of loops to tighten the knot.



3. Find the center point of the chain and open the center two loops of the chain with the pliers.

4. Find the halfway point on one set of the loops and hook the strings of each loop into one of the open links on the chain. Once all the strings are on the loop, close it using your pliers. Repeat on the other side of the necklace to finish.
