DIY Rustic Log Slice Tic-Tac-Toe


Finally a board game that the kids don’t need to put away! This rustic tic tac toe board looks adorable displayed in your home and is a lot of fun to play with.

Things you’ll need:
Large log slice
Chalk spray paint
Painter’s tape
Miniature wood stars
Grey and green acrylic paintOther colors of your choice
Chalk pen
Chalk
Jute
Eraser

Things to do:
1. The first step is prepping your log slice for painting. Use painter’s tape and create a boarder around the outside edge.


2. Move your log slice to a well-ventilated area and spray the surface with chalkboard spray paint. Let the paint dry for 24 hours.


3. The next step is painting your wooden game pieces. Paint six in each color.

4. Now we’re going to cure the chalkboard. Pull the tape away from the dried log slice and rub a piece of white chalk across the surface. Wipe clean with an eraser or damp cloth.
5. Draw a tic tac toe board on the surface using a chalk pen.
