DIY Fairy Garden Pumpkins

Fairies love fall! Well of course they do! All those colors, turning leaves, dropping acorns, and, of course, Halloween! Bring a little fall into your fairy garden with these cute yarn pumpkins! Alter the size of these pumpkins by starting with different sized foam balls. These pumpkins are only suitable for indoor fairy gardens but they also make great accessories for wreaths, dollhouses or even mantlescapes!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam Balls
Orange yarn
Glue gun and glue sticks
Short pieces of sticks for stems
Tiny wood slices

Things to do:
1. Wrap yarn around and around the foam balls, you’ll want at least a double layer of yarn and the shape of the pumpkin can be changed by adding more or less yarn to areas to create oblong or lumpy pumpkins if you wish.

2. Cut or break the yarn and then add a drop of hot glue. Press a mini wood slice over the glue to seal the yarn end and to create a flat surface for setting the pumpkin down.

3. Using a little glue, add the stick to the top to create the stem of the pumpkin.
