Each sisal tree has a wiry spring center connected to a round wood base. If a lighter color is desired, these are bleachable.

1 of 1 found this review helpful Tara "I bought these trees to make snow globes for a large group. I used distilled water and the trees turned my water green! It is to late to send them back. So I am stuck trying to figure out a way to fix this problem. I am trying to soak them in water and get off the extra dye. If that doesnt work, I guess I will have to spend more money and try a spray on sealant. Very frustrating. I gave it two stars because they are nice little trees.
