WOW....What a find. We found these boxes tucked away in a warehouse in Northen Michigan. Well you know how we just love primitives and these definitely fit the bill.
These boxes would have been quite an engineering feat for their time. The base of each box folds inwards and the sides collapse making them completely flat. Yet when they are re-assembled, they are extremely sturdy. They have two handle holes on the side for easy carrying. Perfect for all your craft shows and great for displaying items. Fantastic primitive item that is a true antique. The 4 digit telephone number alone makes these antiques appealing. The inside of the boxes are painted green. Their dimensions are - Length: 22", Width: 14", Height: 14-1/2".
Take this opportunity to grab yourself a unique piece of American history in one of these fascinating antique wooden folding boxes.
True vintage box, aged for the past 60 years. Boxes are worn and may have imperfections. These imperfections only add to the charm of these unique antique boxes. These items will ship separately from the rest of your order..

Great!!, Can almost smell the Oxydol and Purex (for those too young to remember, Oxydol was the premier dry laundry soap powder and Purex was bleach when bleach was BLEACH)
