Fly tyers will find this these bead chains useful for making eyes in some flies. They are a good size for tying damsel and dragon fly nymphs on 814 hooks. The thread connecting the beads is more flexible that I would like, but a drop of epoxy or super glue fixes that. As these beads are light it provides the tyer with more contol over the sink rate of the fly by adding wraps of appropriate diameter wire weight.I gave these 4stars rather than 5stars because of the connection between the eyes. Otherwise these are a useful product for fly tying.
