Woodland Cinnamon Stick and Fabric Tree Ornament Tutorial

It’s that time of year – time to make and share gifts, decorate for family, and plan the look of the Christmas tree. This woodland-style cinnamon stick and fabric tree will be a cherished ornament for years to come.

Things you’ll need:
Red dish towel
Cinnamon sticks
Baker’s twine
Rusty tin star
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

Things to do:
1. Cut the dish towel into two triangles.

2. Sew them right sides together, leaving an opening at the bottom as shown.

3. Trim around the seam allowances and clip the corners.

4. Turn the tree right side out.

5. Pack the tree with strips of the dishtowel, for stuffing. Warm up your hot glue gun.

6. Insert the cinnamon stick and glue into place.

7. Glue the star to the top. If your has holes, thread the twine through the top one. If yours doesn’t have holes, sew the twine to the top of the tree.
