Wood Slice Snowman Ornament

When the winter winds blow and the temperatures drop, it’s time to snuggle down indoors and get crafting! This wood slice snowman ornament is a sweet little project, perfect for those snowy days when it’s too frigid to build a snowman outside. If you are working with little ones, you can use black paint in place of the wood burner for the snowman’s eyes and mouth.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Small wood slices
Little top hats
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Orange paint
Wood burning tool
Paintbrush
Narrow ribbon
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Stack the wood slices end to end with the largest at the bottom and the smallest at the top and glue them where they meet with a generous amount of glue.

2. Plug the wood burner in with the dot tip attached and burn eyes and spots for a coal mouth.
3. Using the paintbrush, paint a nose with the orange paint.
4. Cut a 5-inch piece of ribbon and fold in half to form a loop.
5. Add a dollop of glue to the top of the snowman and press the hat in place to finish.
