Washi Tape Mosaic Eggs

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. But not for the candy or the surprise of Easter Morning or even the pretty dresses (which were always my favorite part as a kid) no, it’s the color! After the long, grey winter, I crave color and Easter is the perfect opportunity to bring back all sorts of color! These washi mosaic eggs are full of color without the mess of dyes or inks so it’s great to do with little ones!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Washi tape
Hard boiled eggs
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Make sure your eggs are dry and cool (and thoroughly cooked!) before you begin.

2. Cut your washi tape into small triangles or squares and fit them onto the eggs with a small, even space between each edge.

3. Continue to cut and fit the tape onto the egg until the whole thing is covered.
4. Smooth down the edges of the tape and make sure there are no bubbles in the tape.
