Washi Edged Square Tags

While these square cardstock tags are handy and cute, just as they are, a little washi tape can take them from fun to fabulous! Trimming tags with washi tape is a quick and high impact way to take your gift-wrapping up a notch. Color coordinates the washi with your wrapping paper, the season or a favorite color to make your gifts extra special. For best results you’ll want to cover both sides identically in washi so the tag looks great no matter which side is up!

Time required: Less than 5 minutes
Difficulty level: Easy

Things you’ll need:
Washi tape
Square tags
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Line up the edge of your washi tape to the edge of your tag and smooth the tape down well.

2. Repeat this process in the same spot on the other side, smoothing the tape together where it meets.
3. Trim the excess tape off along the edge of the tag so that there is no overhang.
