This upcycle project makes it easy to transform your old clay pots into something cute and modern. It’s amazing what a little paint and jute can do for an old gardening tool!

Things you’ll need:
Clay Pot
Jute
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
White acrylic paint
Paintbrush

Things to do:
1. The first step is wrapping the entire base of the pot in jute. Start by applying a small drop of hot glue to the base and attaching the end of the piece of jute.

2. Apply a line of hot glue around the base of the pot and start wrapping. Use hot glue throughout the surface of the pot as necessary.

3. When you’ve finished wrapping, trim the jute and use hot glue to secure the end to the pot.

4. The next step is painting the top rim of the pot. Use a paintbrush and white acrylic paint to cover the surface.

5. Add a second coat of paint to surface and make sure that your brushstrokes are all going in the same direction.
