St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays and my kids feel the same. They are always looking for fun green things to wear on the day so I know they will love this play tie. Perfect for dressing up for a St. Paddy’s Day extravaganza (or an any day extravaganza!), your kids will love it.

Things you’ll need:
Green craft foam
Scissors
Green ribbon
Craft glue

Things to do:
1. Fold a piece of craft foam in half and cut half a tie shape out, extending it beyond the normal length and splaying out a little at the narrow end.


2. Cut a length of ribbon twice as long as needed to go loosely around the neck.
3. Glue the ribbon near the top of the tie, folding down the slightly splayed out section and gluing it in place.

4. Once the glue is dry the tie can be tied on” around the collar of the shirt.
