Feed your outdoor bird friends with this simple suet and seed feeder. Make a large batch and hang the feeders from the trees around your yard – then wait for the fun of watching the birds visit!

Things you’ll need:
Jute twine
Scissors
Paper cup
Bird seed
Suet (from your local butcher or grocery store)
Saucepan, spoon, stove top.
Mixing bowl
Things to do:
1. Pour some seed in a mixing bowl.
2. Put the suet in a saucepan and turn the stove onto medium-low. The suet will start to melt.
3. Once the suet is melted, pour the seed into the saucepan.
4. Cut a piece of jute and place it into your paper cup.
5. Carefully pour the suet and seed mixture into the cup and place in the refrigerator to allow it to solidify.
6. This is what the suet looks like when dry.
7. Cut the paper cup away to produce the well-formed suet block.
