My kids love to color with markers and I always seem to have several floating around in the bottom of my bag, loosing their caps and getting lost in the murky depths. So this little marker roll is just the thing I need, and getting to skip the sewing makes a mama happy. Quick, easy and so very practical.

Things you’ll need:
Felt (about 20 inches for 6 markers)
Scissors
Ruler
Fabric Pencil
1 yard of 1 inch wide grosgrain ribbon

Things to do:
1. Cut a rectangle from your felt 20 inches long and 7 inches wide.

3. Mark 3/4 inch sections at 1 1/2 inch intervals, enough for 6 markers, leaving the remaining fabric uncut.
4. Snip along marks to create two rows short openings.
5. Wash fabric to remove fabric pencil.
6. Cut two 1 inch slits in the very center of the solid end of the fabric 1/2 inch apart.

7. Thread the ribbon through the slits and tie at the center. Slide markers into place and roll up, securing with the ribbon.
