Rustic Burlap Butterfly Magnet Tutorial


Display the photos on your refrigerator in style with these adorable butterfly magnets. In a few simple steps, you can transform wooden clothespins into works of art. Things you’ll need:
Clothespins
Spray adhesive
Glitter
Burlap ribbon
Pip berry garland
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Magnets

Things to do:
1. Spread a sheet of newspaper and spray a thin layer of glue on the top of your clothespins.


2. Sprinkle a thin layer of glitter on the glue and shake off any excess.

3. Cut a 10-inch piece of burlap ribbon.

4. Run a thin line of hot glue down the end of the ribbon and fold it in half, creating a loop.


5. Slip the ribbon loop into the clothespin.


6. Cut two 1-inch pieces of garland and bend them into a loose S” shape.
7. Use hot glue to attach the antennas to the top of the clothespin.



8. Use hot glue to secure a magnet to the back of the butterfly.
